The specialty Bulgarian & Spanish was established in order to train future experts philologists in Bulgarian language and literature and Spanish and the future teachers in Bulgarian and Spanish.
During the schooling, students improve their knowledge and language skills gained during their high-school education, improve their linguistic, literature, sociological and cultural competences as well as their motivation for studying humanitarian problematics of different kinds; gain solid theoretical knowledge in different linguistic and and literature disciplines included in the curriculum, as well as practical skills applicable in different spheres of business and social life; abilities for adaptation to the professional environment, skills for independent professional work and team work.
Graduates could successfully apply the knowledge gathered during their education at the Faculty of Philology in different professional fields; organize and manage schooling process of Bulgarian language and literature; correctly analyze the theoretical tendencies in the schooling process of Spanish language and literature; as well as to find the correct attitude for communication with their students.
Bachelors from this specialty could find their professional realization as teachers in Bulgarian language and literature and Spanish language and literature in the Bulgarian school-system; philologists-specialists and experts in different Bulgarian educational and cultural institutions, consultants in language and culture in local and international government and independent organizations and institutions; in the field of press and mass media; as researchers in their preferable philological disciplines; consultants, representatives and experts in local and international government and independent organizations and institutions.
