Preschool and elementary pedagogics

The main educational goals of the specialty are:
-Training of highly qualified pedagogical staff for the needs of preschool, elementary education and other educational institutions;
- Providing general education, psychological, pedagogical and methodical training;

The pedagogical, psychological and methodical training of the future preschool and elementary school teachers is based on:
- Psychological and pedagogical disciplines, for developing the cognitive, emotional and physical development of the children at preschool age and the pupils at elementary school age.
- Main educational technologies for work in the fields of preschool education and the elementary education.
- Features and requirements of the European programs and models for preschool and elementary education.

The graduates are qualified to work as: teachers in the elementary education, tutors, guidance counselors, managers in state and private specialized schooling institutions. Graduated bachelors could also practice other scientific and methodical, as well as organizational and management activities in the field of education or other institutions with educational functions.

During their study and under certain conditions, students could apply for secondary specialty in the same or other faculty at the university. Graduates with the educational degree “bachelor” could apply for continuing their education for the higher educational degree master.

Notice: Documents for candidates for the specialty “Preschool and elementary pedagogics” are not accepted without certificate for successfully passed exam from the commission for examination of the speech and communicational skills.
