The education in the specialty “Applied Mathematics” includes mathematical and informatics disciplines, with accent on mathematical modeling and informational technologies. Some of the disciplines from curriculum are eligible, which gives the students opportunities for additional training in their preferable field of applied mathematics, as well as to attend different specialized courses in the fields of mathematics, informatics, business, law, psychology, philosophy, lingustics and others.
Graduates are trained to apply their knowledge in combination with the newest informational technologies in different areas – banks and insurance companies, economy and merchandising, at scientific research groups and after graduating master degree – as teachers and researchers in universities and scientific institutes.
