Tourism

(This specialty is only available at the affiliated colleges in Smolyan and Kardzali)

“Tourism” is a university specialty. The following fundamental disciplines are studied: basics of law and regulations, basics of management, introduction in tourism, geography for tourism, tourism management, tour-operation, agency and transport activities, marketing and commercials, hospitality and restaurant, management for human resources in tourism.

Graduates could find professional realization as:
* specialists in tourism and firms with tour operating activities, informational, consulting and excursion activities;
* specialists in exploitation tourist firms – hotels, hotel complexes, resort facilitates and others;
* specialists in tourism in the state and local authorities, administration and national, regional and local tourism organizations – unions, associations and others.
