REQUIREMENTS FOR FOREIGN APPLICANTS

 

Applying for a B.A./B.Sc. programme: 

Application package:

  • Application, addressed to the Rector of the University, containing brief biographical data and the desired major – see form .
  • A copy of the diploma for secondary education, translated into Bulgarian and legalized with a stamp "APOSTILLE" in the respective country, from which the person is applying;
  • Complete extract of the educational subjects and the results for the years of education in the secondary school, translated into Bulgarian and legalized with a stamp "APOSTILLE" in the respective country, from which the person is applying.
  • Medical certificate, issued not more than one month prior to the date of applying, translated into Bulgarian and legalized with a stamp "APOSTILLE" in the respective country, from which the person is applying (for EU citizens – a copy of the European Health Insurance Card).
  • A copy of the passport/passports, translated into Bulgarian (for EU citizens – a copy of the identity card).
  • 4 photos.

In the period from 01 May to 20 September in the year of applying. Or it can be submitted personally in the year of application in room 211 of the Central University Building – Grozdanka Genova-Pevicharova, Head of Student Affairs Dept.

Full-time studies tuition fee is as follows:
- 3 000 Euro per academic year (1 500 Euro per semester) for foreign citizens;
- 1 500 Euro per academic year (750 Euro per semester) for applicants with double citizenship, one of which is Bulgarian. 

The admitted students enroll at the Bulgarian Language Department for foreign students for the first year and after successful completion they continue their studies in the chosen major. 

Full-time studies tuition fee is as follows:

- 3 000 Euro per academic year (1 500 Euro per semester) for foreign citizens;
- 1 500 Euro per academic year (750 Euro per semester) for applicants with double citizenship, one of which is Bulgarian.


 

Applying for M.A./M.Sc. programme:

Application package:

  • Application, addressed to the Rector of the University, containing brief biographical data and the desired M.A./M.Sc. programme – see form .
  • A copy of the diploma for awarded B.A./ B.Sc. degree, translated into Bulgarian and legalized with a stamp "APOSTILLE" in the respective country, from which the person is applying. B.A./B.Sc. programme must have been of not less than 4 academic year duration, with 240 credits acquired. In case this is not written in the diploma, it has to be certified with an additional document.
  • A copy of the diploma for secondary education, translated into Bulgarian and legalized with a stamp "APOSTILLE" in the respective country, from which the person is applying;
  • Medical certificate, issued not more than one month prior to the date of applying and legalized with a stamp "APOSTIILLE" in the respective country, from which the person is applying (for EU citizens – a copy of the European Health Insurance Card).
  • A copy of the passport/passports, translated into Bulgarian (for EU citizens – a copy of the identity card).
  • 4 photos.
