Students from the specialty “Physics and mathematics” along with the fundamental knowledge in physics and mathematics also receive training in informatics, electronics, astronomy, method and techniques of the school experiments, as well as pedagogical training allowing them to execute experimental, theoretical and teaching activities. The specialty's curriculum includes eligible disciplines, such as computer physics, laser physics, outer galaxy astronomy and cosmology, sensors and sensor systems, electrical state of polymers, physics of crystals, radio ecology and dosimetry, quantum field theory and others, among which students are able to choose according to their interests.
Graduates could find their professional realization as teachers in physics and mathematics, executing teaching, scientific and methodical as well as organizational and management tasks in the educational system.
Their fundamental training in various disciplines allows them to work in all spheres demanding knowledge in physics and mathematics.
After graduating, students could continue their education for the educational degree “master” at other faculties of the university or at other higher school education institutions.
