Centre for Languages and Intercultural Communication
The Centre for Languages and Intercultural Communication was established by a decision of the Academic Council of the University of Plovdiv in 1998 and is 
a structural unit of the Faculty of Philology of the University of Plovdiv.
The aims of the centre are:
- Foreign language training of students and teachers of Plovdiv University;
- Training of foreign students and teachers of Bulgarian language;
- Intercultural orientation of Bulgarian and foreign students and teachers in order to participate in international educational programs (Erasmus+, 
 CEEPUS, etc.);
- Development of international projects related to the study of foreign languages and cultures in the context of intercultural communication.
